The President of the Duntroon Society (Chris Appleton, 1978) was pleased to be able to present the Duntroon Society Award to Jack Jones at the College’s Prizes and Awards Ceremony on 12 December 2016, the day prior to his graduation from the RMC. The Society’s award is “Awarded to the graduate who has demonstrated extraordinary commitment and dedication to training.” Aged 19 at graduation, Jack entered RMC straight from school. He grew up on Newcastle, both his parents having served in the RAAF. He has been allocated to the Royal Australian Corps of Transport and has been posted to 35 Water Transport Squadron in Townsville. Well done Jack!
