The Victorian Branch of the Society will host the biennial reunion at the former Officer Cadet School at Portsea 10-12 April 2018.
Wednesday 11 April, the main day, features a whole day of activities on the old OCS site, including afternoon drinks in and around the historic Commandant's House and, in the evening, a more formal dinner - a military setting, a band, a bit of pageantry - a totally relaxed atmosphere. There will be organised tours of the old lines (walking) and Point Nepean National Park (bus) earlier in the day. On the evening prior to the Main Day a Welcome Function will be held at the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron to enable you to meet up with old colleagues and friends.
The reunion already promises to be well attended: as at 30 January, there are 73 definite attendees and 50 likely attendees. For more information including a list of those attending: www.duntroonportseareunion.info. If you are planning to attend, please register on the site to allow the planning team from the Victorian Branch of the Society to coordinate the arrangements.
The indicative cost for the reunion is $295 pp. Full payment will be required by 28 February. Two negotiated accommodation options, one in Portsea and on in Sorrento, are recommended for those staying overnight.
